The food here is always a poem. The pick-up food is also really good. We look forward to visiting the restaurant in person again soon and also to meet the more than personable owners.

I discovered the restaurant today by accident and had no expectation. Now I just want to say THANK YOU. For me today it was the best meal for a Greek since 2010. The food is fresh and everything I ate was 100% perfectly prepared. The waitress and the boss are nice, polite and personable people who look after the guests really well and I think they like to take care of them. You don't expect anything from the location and then a big surprise comes around the corner. I appeal to everyone in Mainz. Have you never been here Then just go there and enjoy it. Thank you to the guys from the Thymian restaurant and I hope Corona doesn't ruin your great restaurant. Such as you must not give way.

There are "Greeks" and there is the thyme. Wonderful and ambitious cuisine that reaches an absolutely excellent level. The fish soup was an absolute highlight, the mussels in Riesling sauce were top notch. The stew was delicious too. The kitchen has real potential to boast a star in the future. The spatial flair offers development opportunities. It still has to be refilled, but that's just optics. Everything on the plate convinced us 100%!

Top notch Greek restaurant, run by a very sweet young couple. The food is authentic and the prices are prefect for the quality and the portion sizes. Highly recommended.

You won't find any gyros or tzatziki here, luckily, because here you'll be surprised with traditional Greek cuisine. The menu is well structured and offers something for every lover of Mediterranean Greek cuisine. Consistently in a really high quality, the dishes are delicious, here is a compliment to the kitchen. The drink menu is balanced in every way. The price of this restaurant is a bit higher, but this is completely justified in terms of the quality of the dishes on offer. The staff is exceptionally friendly, courteous and by no means pushy. The location makes a very neat overall impression and is also ideal for family celebrations and the like. One criticism is nevertheless the excellent latte macchiato with a fabulous solid milk foam, served in a stylish tall glass, but unfortunately with a spoon that is too short ...... There are also sufficient parking spaces. In short, this place is recommended.

We live just around the corner and were totally thrilled. Friendly greeting and mentioned the specialties of the day at the table. Super nice people and delicious food. Simply recommended. Will be there more often.

I can only agree with all the previous speakers. We have stayed several times in the thyme and are always thrilled. The food is delicious, the owner very sympathetic and warm, the service was great. Our little daughter (2.5) is also always lovingly cared for. Also friends and family are thrilled. Of course we will come back.
